What do you see as the major issues facing your district and how would you address them?

Multiple properties in our district have been earmarked for development. These include the Bucyrus property, the Everbrite site, and the old BP gas station lot. As a candidate, my primary objective is to guarantee that any funding requested from taxpayers by developers leads to tangible benefits for the community of South Milwaukee instead of just benefiting the developers.

The interests of our community and residents should be prioritized over those of outside developers. Small business owners should not face tougher scrutiny than those seeking millions in funding.

If elected, I will advocate for transparent decision-making, rigorous evaluation of proposals, and a commitment to maximizing community gains from these developments. Let’s put South Milwaukee first.
